Toribio Isaula Rosales (27 April 1904 – 27 December 2013) was a Honduran centenarian who was the oldest known living man in Honduras at time of his death.
Biography[]
Toribio Isaula Rosales was born in Villa de Santiago de Yoro, Yoro Department, Honduras on 27 April 1904. His parents were Justo Isaola and Tranquilina Rosales. He had five siblings. He was baptized on 31 July 1904.
He studied until first grade, when he started working. He served in the Honduran Army during the Second Honduran Civil War.
At the age of 49, he married Maria del Rosario Requeno (who was 25 years old at time). The couple had 12 children. Maria del Rosario died at the age of 75.
As of March 2012, he had 10 living children and 57 grandchildren.
Isaula Rosales died in Tela, Atlantida, Honduras on 27 December 2013 at the age of 109 years, 244 days.
