Toshi Higano (Japanese: 日下野トシ; 19 June 1899 – 18/30 September 2011) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Higano was born in Japan on 19 June 1899. On 22 March 2009, she became the oldest living person in Chiba Prefecture, following the death of Kou Iijima.
Higano died in Yachiyo, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, between 18 and 30 September 2011, at the age of 112 years, 91-103 days.
