Toshiko Asaumi [Japanese: 淺海壽子] (6 November 1911 – fl.6 November 2022) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Toshiko Asaumi was born in Japan on 6 November 1911. In November 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday.
In September 2022, Asaumi was reported as the oldest living person in Kobe; her predecessor, Fumiko Inui, went to limbo.
Toshiko Asaumi was last confirmed alive in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan on 6 November 2022, at the age of 111 years, 0 days. In September 2023, she went to limbo, as the oldest living person in Kobe was reported to be 110-year-old Miho Kumagai (born 20 October 1912).
