Tsue Watanabe [Japanese: 渡邉ツヱ] (4 June 1898 – 4 January 2009) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 12 April 2018.
Biography[]
Watanabe was born in Atsuma, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, on 4 June 1898.
In 1978, she moved to the nursing home in Atsuma (Japanese: 豊厚園), where she had lived until she was hospitalized at the age of 110.
Watanabe died of pneumonia at a hospital in Tomakomai, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, at 04:11 PM of 4 January 2009, at the age of 110 years, 214 days.
