Tsuya Miura [Japanese: 三浦ツヤ] (24 July 1902 – 31 March 2014) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Miura was born in Japan on 24 July 1902. On 9 February 2013, at the age of 110, she became the oldest living person in Aichi Prefecture, following the death of Sou Osada. Her age was verified by Japan’s MHLW and Anson Davis, and validated by the GRG on 5 June 2013.
Miura died in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, on 31 March 2014, at the age of 111 years, 250 days.
