Una Emmanuelita Lardy Webster (25 December 1911 – 23 January 2023) was a Trinidadian supercentenarian who was the oldest known living in Trinidad and Tobago at the time of her death. Her age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Una Webster was born in Santa Cruz, San Juan–Laventille, Trinidad and Tobago, on 25 December 1911. She had four siblings, (including Clarita Edwards, who died in June 2020, at the age of 103). At some point, she married, and the couple had no children. Her husband died in 1950.
On 21 April 2018, following the death of 111-year-old Vivian Reese, she became the oldest known living person in Trinidad and Tobago.
On 25 December 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian.
Una Webster died in Wallerfield, Tunapuna–Piarco, Trinidad and Tobago, on 23 January 2023, at the age of 111 years, 29 days. Following her death, then 109-year-old Rita Smyke became the oldest known living person in Trinidad and Tobago.
