Valente Lopez Marcos was born in State of Hidalgo, Mexico on 12 May 1911, although he claimed to have been born in 1903 at the time of his death. In previous years, he claimed to be born on 12 May 1906 or 1907.
He had six children (including Marcelina). In May 2020, he celebrated his 109th birthday (claimed 117th birthday).
Lopez Marcos died in Tejupilco, Mexico on 27 July 2020, at the claimed age of 109 years, 76 days (claimed 117 years, 76 days).
