Vally-Emilie Heinola (née Fiks; 9 July 1913 – 25 August 2020) was an Estonian centenarian who was the oldest living person in Estonia since the death of Marta Kivi on 23 August 2020 until her death two days later.

Biography

Vally-Emilie Heinola was born in Valga County, Russian Empire (present-day Estonia) on 9 July 1913. Her parents were Sim Fiks and Mai (née Neumann) Fiks. Her mother died when she was young and her father remarried.

She studied in Valga Gymnasium. She worked at the Valga Liqueur Factory.

She married Julius Theodor Heinola. The couple had one children: Uno Heinola (aged 71 in 2015). She got widowed in 1995. She had two grandchildren.

Vally-Emilie Heinola died in Tartu, Tartu County, Estonia on 25 August 2020 at the age of 107 years, 47 days.
