Victoria Anna Rozelle (née Wiktoria Mocarska) (17 May 1913-23 July 2024) was a Polish-American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was the third-oldest known living person in the U.S. state of Michigan at the time of his death.
Biography[]
Victoria Rozelle was born on 17 May 1913 in Wizna, Łomża County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland to parents Józef Mocarska and Stefania Chmielewska. She immigrated with her parents to Syracuse, New York in 1914, where her family lived until at least 1921. By 1923, they had moved to Jackson, Michigan and sometime between 1929 and 1935, they moved to Hudson, Michigan. On 2 Jan 1935 she married her husband Lewis Curtis Rozelle (1910-1988) in Hudson, Michigan, with whom she had 3 children.
She died in Hudson, Michigan, USA at the age of 111 years, 67 days in 23 July 2024.
