Vincenza Balassone-Colucci (24 January 1903 – 26 June 2015) was a Italian-born American supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography
Vincenza Balassone-Colucci was born in Sulmona, Abruzzo, Italy, on 24 January 1903, one of ten children born to Pasquale and Anna Balassone. She celebrated her birthday on 23 January, but official documentation indicates she was born on 24 January. She married Francesco Colucci, and in 1929 they emigrated to Niagara Falls, New York, USA. They had five children.
Balassone-Colucci died in Niagara Falls, New York, USA, on 26 June 2015, aged 112 years, 153 days.
