Virginia Monteiro (28 March 1895 – 7 April 2005) was a Cape Verdean-American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.
Biography
Monteiro was born in Cape Verde (then a Portuguese colony) on 28 March 1895 and died in Massachusetts, United States on 7 April 2005, aged 110 years, 10 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living Cape Verdean-born person.
