Vivian Forst (née Wright; 25 June 1911 – 23 February 2023) was an American supercentenarian who was the oldest known living person in the U.S. state of Illinois at the time of her death. Her age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Early Life and Family[]
Vivian Forst was born as Mary Vivian Wright in Stockton Township, Indiana, USA, on 25 June 1911, the youngest of six children born to John Ira and Josephine (née Sumner) Wright. She married Frederick Forst in 1933. The couple had two children, Linda and Richard. Her husband died in 1953.
Forst's father died in July 1967, one month before his 99th birthday.
Later Life and Death[]
Forst served as an election judge in Indiana until she was 93.
Forst voted in the 2016 United States presidential election, making her one of the country's oldest known voters.
Vivian Forst died in Champaign, Illinois, USA, on 23 February 2023, at the age of 111 years, 243 days. She previously resided at the Villa West Nursing Home.

Forst became the oldest known living person in Illinois after the death of Alice Thompson on 1 January 2023.
