Wasa Matsumura [Japanese: 松村ワサ] (March 1911 – fl.31 May 2021) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Wasa Matsumura was born in Japan in March 1911. In March 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday. Following the death of 111-year-old Naka Uchida, she was reported to be the oldest living person in Takasaki.
Matsumura was last known to be alive on 31 May 2021 at the age of at least 110 years, 61 days. At the time, she lived in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, Japan.
