Biography[]
William Johnson was born in Los Angeles, California, USA on the claimed date of 8 May 1881. He claimed to have lived in all of the continental states throughout his life. When a reporter asked about his longevity and his continued ability to not only walk, but run, Johnson attributed it to the “1,872 promises God made me” in the Bible, including Genesis 6:3 which says a man would live 120 years. Johnson said he never married, but has an “adopted” family that he spends time with. His portfolio also has a number of proclamations from other states recognizing him on his longevity, including proclamations form Wisconsin, Texas, Alabama and Mississippi.
He said he was born in Los Angeles, Calif., at 9:30 a.m. May 8, 1881. He died on 15 May 2009 at the claimed age of 128 years, 7 days.
