Wu Tsung Kan [Chinese: 吴從幹/吴从干] (23 April 1919 – 27 August 2021) was a Singaporean educator and centenarian.
Biography[]
Wu Tsung Kan was born on 23 April 1919.
Wu was the second Principal of then Hwa Chong Junior College (HCJC) from 1976 to 1979 and was the Principal of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) from 1979 to 1988.
The Wu Tsung Kan Book Prize was named after him when he made a generous donation to NAFA on the occasion of his 97th birthday in 2016.
Wu passed away on 27 August 2021, aged 102 years and 126 days. He was cremated the following day. Both HCJC and NAFA paid tributes to him.
