Yoshi Otsunari (born 17 December 1906) is a Japanese supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 1 August 2019.

Biography

Yoshi Otsunari was born in Japan on 17 December 1906. She has been the second-oldest living person in Japan (after Kane Tanaka) since the death of Shigeyo Nakachi on 11 January 2021. Upon surpassing the age of Yone Minagawa, Otsunari became the second-oldest person ever from Fukuoka Prefecture, after Kane Tanaka. Otsunari is also the last surviving Japanese person born in 1906.

Otsunari currently lives in Omuta, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan at the age of 117 years, 123 days.
