Yoshi Yamamoto [Japanese: 山本ヨシ] (18 February 1913 – 12 June 2025) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2024.
Biography[]
Yoshi Yamamoto was born in Japan on 18 February 1913. On 18 February 2023, Yamamoto celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
In September 2023, Yamamoto was reported as the oldest living person in Sorachi subprefecture. In September 2024, she was reported as the second-oldest living person in Hokkaido Prefecture, behind Kiyo Ito.
Yoshi Yamamoto died in Iwamizawa, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan on 12 June 2025, at the age of 112 years, 114 days.
