Yoshi Yoshida (Japanese: 吉田よし; January 1906 – 1 May/31 August 2016) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Yoshida was born in Japan in January 1906. On 12 September 2014, at the age of 108, she was visited by the Mayor of Tateyama, Kenichi Kanemaru. According to her family, she often ate pickled food, which was the secret of her longevity. At that time, she lived at the Long-Term Care Health Facility "Nanohanakan Misaki" in Hamada, Tateyama.
Yoshida died in Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, between 1 May and 31 August 2016, at the age of 110 years, 91-243 days.
