Yoshiko Ito [Japanese: 伊藤嘉子] (10 January 1907 – 14 April 2017) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was the oldest known person in Fukui Prefecture, Japan when she died.
Biography
Yoshiko Ito was born on 10 January 1907 in Japan. Following the death of 111-year-old Chiku Matsumoto on 27 May 2015, she became the oldest living person in Fukui Prefecture.
Ito died in Katsuyama, Fukui Prefecture, Japan on 14 April 2017, at the age of 110 years, 94 days. Her successor as the oldest living person in Fukui prefecture was Yoshie Okamoto (born 31 March 1907).
