Yoshino Ide (1 January 1896 – 28 January 2009) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was the oldest known person in Hyogo Prefecture at the time of her death.

Biography[]

Yoshino Ide was born on 1 January 1896 in Japan. On 23 September 2006, she was validated by the GRG, having been verified by Japan’s MHLW, Ken Matsuoka and Robert Young. She passed away on 28 January 2009 at the age of 113 years, 27 days. At the time of her death, she was the ninth-oldest validated living person in the world.
