Yoso Fukunaga [Japanese: 福永よそ] (9 January 1887 – 9 January 1997) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Yoso Fukunaga was born in Ibuki, Shiga Prefecture, Japan on 9 January 1887. Following the death of 109-year-old Haru Okamoto on 11 February 1995, she became the oldest living person in Shiga Prefecture.
Her age was verified by the IDL and Japan's MHLW, and (posthumously) validated by the GRG on 29 January 2014 (she was validated as "anonymous" at the time).
Yoso Fukunaga died in Ibuki, Shiga Prefecture, Japan on 9 January 1997, her 110th birthday.
