Yukino Kato [Japanese: 加藤ユキノ] (24 February 1895 – 1 May 2005) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Kato was born in Japan on 24 February 1895. On 20 January 2005, at the age of 109, Kato became the oldest living person in Hiroshima Prefecture, following the death of Waki Muneta.
Kato lived in Kawasumi, Kumano, Hiroshima Prefecture, however, she was hospitalized in the hospital in Higashihiroshima due to pneumonia, where she died on the morning of 1 May 2005 at the age of 110 years, 66 days.
