Yuri Petrovich Repin [Russian: Юрий Петрович Репин] (16 June 1906? – fl.29 January 2019) was a Russian-born Kazakh supercentenarian whose claim is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Yuri Repin claimed to have been born in Veliky Novgorod, Russian Empire (present-day Russia) on 16 June 1906. His mother and sister died there. He was a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. He claimed that during the war he served on a submarine. After the war, he moved to present-day Kazakhstan and worked as a shoemaker. He doesn't have documents for many years and his USSR passport burned in a fire in 2012. He has never had a Kazakhstan ID or passport. He married three times. Yuri had a daughter in Russia but he lost contact with her.

At the claimed age of 111, he moved to Kaskelen, Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. Previously, he lived with his relatives in Almaty. However, they sold their house and moved to Russia, but Yuri stayed in Kazakhstan.

Yuri Repin was last confirmed to be alive in Kaskelen, Almaty Region, Kazakhstan on 29 January 2019, at the claimed age of 112 years and 227 days.
