Yvonne Bouton (née Schmidt; 24 June 1907 – 31 August 2017) was a French supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Yvonne Bouton was born in Noel-Cerneux, Doubs, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France on 24 June 1907. She lived in Pagnoz, Jura, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. She was a member of several associations, before moving to a nursing home in Salins-les-Bains, where she lived in the last years of her life.
Bouton died in Salins-les-Bains, Jura, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France on 31 August 2017 at the age of 110 years, 68 days. She was the oldest living person in Bourgogne-Franche-Comte and in Jura departement; her successor as the oldest living person in the region was Madeleine Chat of Yonne departement.
