Yvonne Lamoureux (5 December 1900 – 2 November 2012) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Yvonne Lamoureux was born in Quebec, Canada on 5 December 1900.
In December 2010, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
She became the oldest known living person in Canada following the death of 113-year-old Cora Hansen on 18 April 2012. She was also the second to last surviving person in Canada born in the year 1900.
Yvonne Lamoureux died in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 2 November 2012 at the age of 111 years, 334 days. Following her death, then 111-year-old Merle Barwis became the oldest known living person in Canada.
