Zdenka Kasparova (née Hoznauerova) [Czech: Zdeňka Hoznauerová Kašparová] (3 April 1913 – 13 March 2023) was a Czech centenarian who was the oldest living person in the Czech Republic at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Zdenka Kasparova was born in the city of Pečky, Central Bohemian Region, Austria-Hungary (present-day Czech Republic) on 3 April 1913. She was a resident of Úvaly since 1937, where she married. In April 2013, she celebrated her 100th birthday and became a centenarian.
She became the oldest known living person in the Czech Republic, following the death of 109-year-old Lidmile Junkova on 26 August 2022.
Kasparova died in Úvaly, Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic on 13 March 2023 at the age of 109 years, 344 days, three weeks before her 110th birthday. Following her death, then 109-year-old Bedriska Adamickova became the oldest living person in the Czech Republic.
