Potential Longevity Records[]

If validated, she would have been the oldest living person in Asia following the death from the death of Yone Minagawa on 13 August 2007 to her own death on 30 May 2008 (being older than Shitsu Nakano, Tsuneyo Toyonaga, Kaku Yamanaka and Kama Chinen). She would also have been the second-oldest living person in the world at the time of her death, after Edna Parker.
